To minimize fabric draw on a dense design like this, I like to set my rows about as large as I can for my available quilting space.
Most of my other designs will nest together by decreasing the gap between rows, however, this design looks continuous when the space between the rows looks similar to the amount of space between the lines within the rows. (This means using a positive gap amount instead of a negative one.)
