This is a very simple design that is fast to stitch out and incorporates a very wide-angle. It was a fun bonus when I noticed that offsetting the rows at 50% worked for a cross-hatching or diamond design!
Here are my specs from the sample shown:
Row height: .75"
Pattern height: .773"
To get the cross-hatching effect, you would need to offset every other row at 50%. No offsetting is required with the default setup.
Please notice that when I set up the pantograph for the cross-hatched effect, I made the rows overlap slightly on my screen. I did this so when it stitched out, they met perfectly on the quilt with no gaps. You might have to experiment with your system to see if you'd need a greater or less amount of overlap.
