This is a very simple design that is fast to stitch out and incorporates a very wide-angle. It's a great alternative to straight-line quilting and looks great on modern quilts. Read more details about tips for exact placement when using it for the cross-hatching look here.
The Christmas quilt shown in the examples is the Starlets pattern by Modernly Morgan.
The pattern showing the feathered star quilt can be found here.
Quilting default:
Row height: .75"
Gap: -0.023
Pattern height: .773"
To get the cross-hatching effect, you would need to offset every other row at 50%. No offsetting is required with the default setup.
No backtracking.
Please notice that when I set up the pantograph for the cross-hatched effect, I made the rows overlap slightly on my screen. I did this so when it stitched out, they met perfectly on the quilt with no gaps. You might have to experiment with your system to see if you'd need a greater or less amount of overlap.
Upon completing your purchase, an email containing your download will be sent immediately. Please note: WE DO NOT SELL ANY PAPER PANTOGRAPHS. You will get the following file formats in your zipped folder:
